Drowning
The sought of one's soul in another's cry Wondering if the person inside is a reflection Or perhaps the real you. Have you ever inhaled your own flesh Watch it burn seeking yourself in the flames Hoping to read the unwritten words in the stars But no matter how much you trace You just can't feel your own scars. A kindred spirit in suicide forest Awaiting for silence to convince his soul The scream in his wrists, the itching that never stopped He added to his deterioration... Won't it be better to sleep after a dose It won't be the feeling of fire kissing slowly your skin Or water filling your lungs It'll be like tears flowing into your mouth Bathing in your own wounds Cleansing the sadness Finding yourself where reality doesn't exist The serene and joy that awaits a free soul And yet you're still drown You're alone and shouting your soul just won't leave For eternity you feel the water filling your lungs every day of your life.
