At Heaven's Door
Author Dana Redricks April 2, 2020 Today I received the worst news I thought I ever could hear. The words of my aunt telling me, you passed away. Today you died and went home to be with the Lord. You are where my Mamma is standing at heaven's door. Will you tell her hi for me, and I hope to see her soon. You're gone, but in my heart you will always remain until one day I see you at heaven's door. At heaven's door I will see you there with a smile on my face and embrace you in my arms once again. When I see you at heaven's door. You're gone from this earth below. From the place I have come to know. This world was a temporary dwelling place, and we are all pilgrims just passing through. I can't wait to see you at heaven's door. The way this world is going, I know it won't be long. This world is not my home; here today gone tomorrow. This world is drowning in his many sorrows. I'll see you at Heaven door one day.
