From Oceans With Love
Have you ever watched them fly? Birds I mean in the clear blue sky In formation like on combat patrol Wings spread with an image of being in control Going south to north Sleek and smooth they go forth Up and down the sandy shore They look for a nice fish score But what do they see but a man in a boat Wearing a slicker a human water protected coat Peter was his name He had a gigantic net in his seafood game Putting it in the water and raising it later There was plenty of fish caught for the land friendly waiter With a piercing eye Those in the air take one try Using their mouth as a spear A tuna from the ocean disappears Enough to enjoy a nice meal As for the man casting the reel He needs more and more for his financial deal You see Friday is the next day When meat gives away To a different kind of feast Claiming sacrifice while eating the buttery drowned treats Those birds still fly with the feeding of one Talking to the clouds telling them we are filled and are done
