When Days Were Simple
Standing opposite to the rainbow, wondering what life has been. Thinking about the time, when days were simple. Thinking about the time When chatting was cute and funny; No time for parents, no time for self, Running with friends, gazing at the night sky, With the lover, Ohh the days were simple. Looking at the night sky, where the stars should be. They were supposed to guide us, They seemed to have lost interest in me. Walking on the track, With stones and pebbles; Making us dance to their beat. Guided by the strange angels; One wondering what life has been, and One thinking about the time, when days were simple. Capturing the moment in eternity; With the lights flashing, and the sound of traffic. Yet we find a lonely place to stand; with the silence of the noisy city. Gazing at the night sky, where the stars should be, Remembering the winter night; when you met thee. Standing opposite to the rainbow, wondering what life has been. We go on an adventure again tomorrow; Taking with me these memories.
