Surely Something
imagine, wonder, ponder, think nebulous nothing is "surely something" more than absence, spontaneous spawning on the brink let's fantasise, let's dream awake utter the dubious name of nothing impostor corralled by "surely something", in a shake head held down in the drowning pool gasping, grasping, a dredged-up done thing nothing, something, plus now...here I am, the clowning fool logic loops, each-way reasoning infinite progressions forever frame primeval potential, specks of sprinkled seasoning eternal bundles overlap floating bubbles, the never-ending game holographic membranes spreading round the cover map look on from within, down and out curious others, do they know my name ? multi-dimensional, enduring faces, packaged doubt continuity, on and on before beginning, beyond the end alas pierce encircling porous spheres as beaming lights are shone waving particles, chunks and bits entangled quanta through the looking glass collapsing space-time, screens that measure and do the splits clicking camera, narrow slot with or without me, futures come to pass probability lens, whether witnessed, whether not fire-wall cooling sky, silhouette exotic tango, waltz ethereal fleet-footed, fevered, frenzied dancers pirouette exquisite tuning, freakish fluke? dark energy, missing material black holes rotate, greedy mouths swallow gobbledygook my murky mind full of clutter first to fade, the most recent serial old episodes remain a while before they stutter information slowly seeping feeding the mighty monstrous mixing beast incoming intelligence absorbed smiling, weeping stretched lives sampled below ground some serious laughter, fantastic feast the music of life emerging to pulsating sound rhythmic recall and soothing hand persona arises, fabulous yeast "surely something", imbedded histories, small or grand two worlds collide, hullabaloo deep tectonic forces, magnetic shield continents drift afloat, living orb shimmering blue beauty bathed in solaris wind awesome green aurora, protective field lunar remnant where once planets kissed and skinned lovers entwine in close embrace then flung apart, stricken hearts congealed bound by tidal memory, now frozen face to face inputs, outputs, climatic shifts spiralling galactic dust, solar phase radioactive warmth, subterranean rifts atmospheric heat retention circulating air and water highways coriolis stormy weather, jet-stream suspension equilibrium tipping point extreme eventing and chemical haze who's this two-legged interloper with smoking joint? I think, therefore I am, I think just me in here, so I'm "surely something" other party-goers, congregating in a blink into the abyss, gaze amazed multiplication, much more than one thing the universe has eyes, the windows glazed the outlook very far from bleak we realise our power, "surely something" innocent but not so naked while we cosmic streak
