Breakfast Tomorrow
Breakfast Tomorrow Broken and alone This bittersweet hold He mumbles and moans Her conscience was sold Turned up to a scream This all feels surreal I died in a dream There’s too much to feel So shuffle along These hearts turn to stone We sing a broken song To hear the unknown Calamity begets imaginary ghosts Yesterdays were never so sad Hunger knows the ways of the coast Reminding me it’s never so bad Trippin to steps never taken I need a vacation from days of the flood Easy to see me as the forsaken The ego in me is thicker than blood Crescendo, descend in me I’m waking up to see the unseen Forgetting who I used to be Dissolving stiches in my seams So nothing more to really say My heartbeat says today’s the day I’m reaching higher, anyways Cause friends are there to see the way
