Blood Stained On Market Street
There must have been several of these incidents Occurring in towns and cities all over the country From month to month and from year to year But to experience one at such a close range Was enough to cause me great pain. I left the street corner early this morning And went back to the property And just as I opened the gate The Hispanic woman held her phone And point it directly at the gate I walked towards her to see what she was doing And she and the old woman’s began to irritate me The old woman eyes start bulging out of her head And it looked as if someone was dead Something in her face was moving about And I try to capture a photo to analyze it But the Hispanic woman kept masking her face I suddenly had this troubled and feelings And my sprit starts reeling I washed the front of the gate with bleach And sweep the gutter to get rid of the bad energy Around but it just would not go away I fed the puppies from the leftover food that someone brought to the home The dogs gulped it up quickly And lie down quietly chewing on the bones They too were acting strange the entire night They were running up and down the roof and barking I washed my body from a little basin pan Because no there was no water in the pipe And suddenly a strange sensation came over me And a negative energy starts engulfing The space around me, and it did not go away It still resides around me and kept draining my energy I fetched water from the bucket and Wash a few pieces of clothes and hang them on the line Then suddenly my spirit starts to cry I asked the cook in the school for a ten dollar coin Then grabbed my laptop and bag And walked through the miserable gate To get rid of this negative energy around me I walked briskly up the street and as I enter the phone shop The man selling phone starts running and shouting “Somebody gets shot”. Everyone seems to know him And for a short time fear began to spread around the town I left the phone shop to see what everything was about And there he was a young man in his twenties lying dead In a pool of blood with bullet holes in the back of his head He lie stretched out on the ground In his white shoes, plaid shorts and pink shirt And a fine wrist watch that made him looked like a boss His eyes were closed but bulged heavily above his skin It was the exact bulge the old woman had Why they shot him down I just cannot tell Some say that he was an informer And he was running errands in town Many people say different things When they don’t know anything Blood flowing in the gutter and before you could tell the crowd had gather around and everyone was looking on with a frown They weren’t looking sorry they were just a little worried. A stillness overshadows the town And the grey cloud starts moving slowly around Everything in the town virtually came to a standstill Because a young man was gunned down in the street And the spirit spoke silently. The news quickly circulates everywhere And the police came and blocked off the street The crowd began to grow and it began to look like a show A young man who should have add some value to the society Is lying on the side of Market Street dead Blood streaming down in the gutter And everything looked like a blood bath shower Everyone was too numb to speak because nothing like this has happened recently in the Linstead town. The shops closed up doors quickly And crowd partitioned in the square as the police drew near Then suddenly a man dressed in a white jumpsuit came on the scene with a camera hanging around his neck to make the final assessment And the young man’s mother adorned in red crying out loud, “my son is dead” He lies on the ground in cold blood in Linstead Town Everyone stood still as reality began to sink in An then the funeral home van came and Wrapped up the bodies in white sheet The tucked it in the van and it drives away slowly Blood stained has erupt the passion on market street.
