To Look the Evil In the Eye
POEM " TO LOOK THE EVIL IN THE EYE " by martin gedge Fear you not who temps my fate to fill my heart with all this hate I don't subscribe to what you seek or try to sell of that you speak I am not blind of your accord of what I truly can't afford but offer this in hind of sight that from the highs there shines a light to keep us pure of thee undo to stay the hell away from you with poise in purpose of the soul to cleanse the filth that rakes the hole with eyes to see the path to face to walk the shoes in godly grace and not look back upon the hill that sits the dark and spits the pill onto the sea the burns the cross for those of weak and tired loss I have the strength and will defy to look the evil in the eye to turn your flesh into the stone and sit upon the devils throne... by martin gedge ©
