Terribly alive… Oh I've been terribly alive I will survive… I will arrive done and dive Into waters of His healing grace If only I wasn't this disgrace I pray I don't hide For, He's by my side Terribly alive I have survived a strenuous storm (inside me) I will survive I am alone in my desolate dorm (silently) Terribly alive My voice isn't heard From a thousand miles away I'm like a silent bird I've made several mistakes today I've been led astray… What can I say? Father, I want to pray Be thankful to You, for You're all-knowing In every single way I want to say before I get going That I must endure He will be by my side, Despite my sinful nature Need you to pray for me To grow closer to Him And no longer hide Terribly alive… Oh I've been terribly alive I will survive… I will arrive done and dive Into waters of His healing grace If only I wasn't this disgrace Terribly alive I have survived a strenuous storm (inside me) I will survive I am alone in my desolate dorm (silently) Terribly alive My voice isn't heard From a thousand miles away I'm like a silent bird I've made several mistakes today I've been led astray… What can I say? I'm not perfect and never will be, baby You can't just set me free immediately I'm a sinner and I admit it wholeheartedly I already told you to accept me...
