The Nights Are Fare Drawin In
There's a famous old Scottish saying 'the nights are fare drawin in' this relates to the increasing darkness where winter comes upon us in a spin As now in the midst of January it's bitterly cold, windy and wet heavy coats scarfs and boots are the rule with woolly hat keeping head from cold Real snowflakes are not far away before long they'll smother us all making us all snowmen at heart glad our height helps us think tall Many people face depression in those dark months of winter a cloud so dark tears one down one seeks a spring flower occasion Winter brings a crispness in the air early morning frost wakens our mind at times it really takes your breath away though spring brings hope perfectly signed ('The Nights Are Fare Drawin In', this is an old Scottish saying when winter starts to come upon us in Scotland and we have less light in the skies. So this is written with regard to this Scottish saying.)
