Threesome Form On Loss
Occupied Hands Please, forgive me. I have nearly forgotten how to shower love upon you, though I never stopped loving you. When rains were fierce, I could not resolve how to reach for you without dropping the shattered pieces of my heart. When Loss becomes Life Once a feverish lover, there existed a place in my heart for all, every bit of creation, every piece of you. I regret allowing loss to become my life, and how, even in this awareness, shame and sadness, I have not emerged for you. Does Love Really Win In this state of disrepair, I have become afraid of surrender, to allow anyone into the madness, my sadness and perfectly sensible insecurities. I fear playing a game where no one wins, no matter how much we give or how we forgive. Inspired by Silent One's Threesome Contest in which one poem must be written in three lines. Contest was full, but I wanted to post these three threesomes anyway :)
