Once Upon a Time With Robert Frost
I remember always walking with her On The first snow of the year In the evening under the street lights The snow would swirl around us. How very peaceful and wonderous it was, I Could feel the tiny ice crystals On my cheek everything seemed so right as we traveled on foot that special night. We walked arm in arm, a friendship never to fade a bond so comfortable and Purposely made I found a book in a childs' book store Reminding me of the love I feel for winter, The quiet peace of stopping by the woods On that snowy evening She was the first to show me how to make a snow angel the first to play tag in a snow pie. She told me every snow flake was different, special and new. How glad my heart was as it rejoiced in winter Because of her.
