Revolution Is Another Poem
Revolution is another poem I have grasped the coal In Parliament and elsewhere To show my support For our energy Or has it grasped me? Millenia mature unlike them To make this source Oh god we bow before you As you light our life literally But without words So unspoken On your trajectory By use to destroy us all Like Satan before the fall Angelic until we see your face The devil reborn in all your glory Gory, that is our path As we gasp our last While our sun shines free Unlike us, caught in profit, profit and more profit Putting people last We cannot survive Unless … But revolution is another poem Unwritten and alone Until … Until we rise, together, And breathe again And their profit system Dies with them By our hand Together and forever
