Intertwined Love
Source of inspiration: “You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days Aye, you shall be together even in the silent memory of God.” The Prophet: Kahlil Gibran I found him lonely, sitting on a bench out in the park He tried to smile at me, that smile was deeper than a cry “I am fine, believe me,” his hands gently touched mine. Intertwined love, why life separates the souls in adversity? The next morning in that winter, she died a peaceful death Only he knew that she longed to see the sea in the end Morning light kissed her silent face, her eyes were closed. Her bedridden sorrow was finally relieved passed that last hour. I knew both of them, in happy and sad times, in patience Their ties sustained many cold winters, until that fateful day A bright morning got wrapped up with dismal feelings, helpless Death has a shadow larger than life, which fills the cup often. He was an eloquent orator, heard his speeches many a time He was submerged in painful silence, not a single word at all. A graceful life ended silently, on a moment of the winter morn. The body of clay rested with soil, responding to omnipotent one.
