The Tree In Our Heart
Every man’s heart is a terrific tree of desire It sprout so fast as a mighty meaty briar Born from the seed of error it grows With wrath and pride as the trunks it shows. With nescient roots it spread deep the soil And suck inane water with rootlets that coil Spread around the basin, the wish of action Holding the water that nourishes the motion. Our tree is full with leaves of envy Covering the branches of grief in plenty Sprouts of fear, sprouts from its branches Making it looks like a lone tree in ranches. Acts so evil from the past are its vigour With twigs of anxiety it looks so rigor Loss of judgement sprigs from its arms Our tree looks phantom, devoid of charms. Thirsty for love and thirsty for money Thirsty for power and thirst so many Creepers of thirst, twine they surround Cower the branches and climb from around Like the Eve of Eden who tasted the fruit Don’t wait underneath for the forbidden fruit Cut down the tree and cut down your sorrows Free your soul and the joy you pampers.
