Numbers
Numbers Life is measured. How much can you do? Whimsical ideas, dashed to the rocks... in favor of older methods, sure of return. Courage beyond position, ambition to prove out. The candy eaten by giants, whose hearts have long since, been hollowed, to drink rye and stout. Perseverance and tenacity, a thesaurus for the soldier, refusing to succumb to brainwashing ads, in denial of truth, covetous of the darkness, and all it's treasures, real and imagined. Marked on cards, and labels. Soon under our skin. For now... just a pill to take, and a world to make... their own. It is no surprise, we all die, it is the line between the counted...and the "thin". Do not be among them, if you can...in the end. (The "thin": skeletal beings, still human, but hard to recognize at first glance. Just a note, demons do not take checks, cash or gold.)
