Recovering From the Night Before
RECOVERING FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE Remphan now sitting at home, his bunions not half giving him jip Looking at the cat, the cat looking at him, I’ll have less of your lip The cat scarpers before he gets the back end of Remphan’s shoe Which just happened to be a size 8 stiletto of sea green and blue As tatted fishnet stockings lie draped across the back of the chair Remphan reminds himself next time to buy, a much stronger pair With his lipstick all smudged & eye makeup half way down his face At what was in all honestly nothing short of being a total disgrace On cocking his leg over the sofa he lies back and wonders on it all That randy male bouncer who pinched his a**, tut’, had some gall No time for nods: the early morning alarm clock, is about to go off Into the shower to start a brand new day, feed the cat some scoff Now in more norm clothes, shoes; with makeup & hair re-arranged Off to work: and sitting behind the desk as if nothing had changed "To know him, is to love him" . . . ; ) Indiana Shaw . . . ; )
