Parody- Scarlet and Me
Scarlet is a southern belle quite spoiled, she is very beautiful with flawless skin; this southern belle has many beaus, fiddle-dee-dee is her favorite reply! Great balls on fire she has a temper, but within Scarlet is a great strength; she fights for her home and family, she went to town wearing a green curtain! Scarlet is a survivor! I am a Canadian girl quite loved, been told I am pretty and have lovely hair; I have had a few boyfriends so far. oh, fiddle what? I would never say that! Great ball of what? I would never say that either, and I am a flowing river and calm as a pond; but, I have courage too though would never wear a green curtain to town even if made of velvet! But, I am a survivor too! Anyways, the parody between Scarlet and me, is probably a travesty, an exaggeration, and silly except . . when I am confronted with a problem I have been known to say . . . "I'll think about that tomorrow, after all tomorrow is another day!" __________________________ November 21, 2019 Poetry/Parody Verse/Scarlet and Me Copyright Protected, ID 19-1200-191-02 All Rights Reserved.
