You feel safe in her presence Becoming stronger, happier, Each time you put a smile on her face And oh, how her eyes light up… You do that That’s your power The power to bring her joy You feel invincible Yet you can’t help thinking “She will leave eventually. They always do.” Still Your body aches to touch her Just one inch of her delicate skin. And as your fingers caress hers Your heart falls Fast But it’s not enough. You want your soul to dance seductively with hers You want to live an unprecedented moment of bliss- Savouring precious minutes as they come She makes you want to share your thoughts Your dreams, your memories Making you laugh Hard Until those destructive demons surface And you view it as a power that she holds over you.
