We Gather Together
We think of the things we have with gratitude. And maybe wish for just a bit more. It depends on our attitude. Whether we admit it or ignore. We forget at times, what the important things are. Life asks for so much, in the hours of a day. When looking what surrounds us, we look too far. Then caught up in something else, we lose our way. This time of year, so beautiful, is a perfect time to reflect. And acknowledge the blessings that life has given us along the way. " Simple things" comes to mind, a concept that I respect. To value the basic gifts we have, that came with no fee to pay. The harvest, where an abundance of these blessings are shared. We come together being thankful for all offerings we have received. But also thinking of those less fortunate, that we have cared. And that someday all will gather together as I have always believed.
