Rumor Shockwaves
Enriched hearsay disaster spread faster than the raging radio talk heard — Kindling of conspiracy flames With howling winds of thermonuclear quickness, the rumor shockwaves came As did the radioactive tone rain When the silo mouths began to open, the clandestine missives went below-the-radar, dastardly drone flying Hugging the public opinion terrain But the speed of misinformation didn’t lessen Nor did the sulfuric acid reign, corrosively falling Panic movement came in waves, and the A. Bunker mentality deeply arose Hate thy neighbor was ballot chose Iridium choices have plutonium consequences Mushroom boom arguments clouded the air of calm, civil discourse Uranium fear spread swiftly, so unstable easy As did the atomic rumors quaking Clamorous tension flooded the global village space Red Button clowns wasn’t laughing at the masses anymore Extinction amusement became more than frivolous meltdown noise When the rumor shockwaves came tsunami time bomb ticking Now, mutated anxiety blows across all lands, unconfirmed winds ever changing At the crimson ink drop of a hydrogen pen, the rumor shockwaves, in fallout earnest, will begin As will the radioactive hail storm reign Only God of the Ark knows when it will brimstone end
