Kismet, I Shall Not Fear
The crepuscular sky resounds each dawn anew, I fear not kismet, only embrace the will of the Lord- when today fades and tomorrow comes to renew, I shall cascade in the warmth of joy and accord. For I know my future will be my greatest reward. Resonating in my memory is laughter’s tune, a melody I hope lasts ‘til my final breath inhaled- and when I say farewell to the evanescent moon, I pray the loving essence of my yesterdays availed. I will cease each moment knowing kindness prevailed. The scent of lilacs filling a forest field, tasting medallion sunshine when the day ends- a plethora of autumn’s crimson blades shield, the changing of life's season transcends. I have found comfort in my family and friends. I see a future that bestows what I never knew, possibilities are endless with hope in sight- I shall raise a glass to all I did, even what I didn’t do, and all my transgressional wrongs I’ve made right... fading into the abyss of heaven’s lullaby light.
