It's God's Law
GOD’S LAW Should a man be condemned for stealing a loaf of bread After all no man should starve, no matter what you read We have kids who whinge if they don’t have hi-tech toys That would never think of the third worlds girls and boys The so called righteous people, waiting at heaven’s door Can wait a bit longer there’s no room for them any more Don’t spend a night with the homeless and, think you know the score Go swap your clothes with him man, then, go live his life forever more Our shops are full of glitter, do we really need all this crap Then off to some expensive shop to get an ice cold frappe No one is learning anything here as long as we have all got The churches are standing empty; we all have lost the plot I haven’t given up on God man, but I wonder about you all Who claim I love God, I do not know how you have the gall God gives you everything while others out there starve on your behalf The homeless see you as you pass by inside your pocket a golden calf Yet greets you with a have a nice day as you pass them by Just another number in a cold forsaken doorway; left to die They are but a shadow of you, but in a different dimension The more you ignore them the more you are in suspension Until it's each of your turns to be knocking at heavens door To find you are then returned to earth, to live it some more It's God’s law . . .
