Together Again 2
Tick, tock, tick , tock Was the sound of the man’s clock Tick, tock, tick, tock Was the sound of another person’s clock Somewhere behind the fog Somewhere behind the howls of a dog A person approached the man Floating on the breeze’s sweet tan… Closer, closer, closer The person was now visible Now, the man’s tears froze As he saw the person landing with a familiar pose… Towards the light Towards the place so bright Silence overwhelmed the city Ears activated to listen so intently… That man walked towards the light As he walked towards the place so bright Where his voice apologized whilst silence overwhelmed the city As the people’s ears activated to listen so intently… The person that landed was the woman he loved The one that carried his harsh moments; his harsh doves That pecked her till her tears dropped Then one day, she couldn’t handle him anymore… But now, all is elapsed As they both hugged And the woman pardoned The man she truly loved… Towards the light Towards the place so bright Silence overwhelmed the city Ears activated to listen so intently… As the loved ones walked hand in hand Towards the bright light of a beautiful land…
