September Bridge
I rose from bed this morning at 4am and shortly thereafter I opened The front door and window. That's when I saw September waiting for me And I gladly said hi. She then waved to me out of the eastern sky. One can easily tell that September comes from noble stock even though she Is a bit shy. I anticipate her coming every year, and I tell you no lie when I say, "There's just something special about September" . She even brought Rain drops this week to my area of the country where it's been so dry. Just now, I feel the sweet breeze-that breath of her gentle and refreshing Air like a dispatch of angels. Ah September, there are things of beauty about her that are incredibly unforgetable. Ah September, I love the thanksgiving celebrations of November and what's not to like about December, but neither of the two nor the other Nine come close to moving me quite like September. I suspect her God and mine Must have paused at summer's end and decided to build a bridge to Shuttle us into the winter season. Ah September. If I could sing and make melodies, I would spend 30 days making tunes of her. Ah September. I never learned to dance, but if I could, I would swing with her both night and day until every second of her has flown away. 091819cjPoSoup
