Falling Seasons
Fall away sweet autumn leaves turn your crimson reds to orange and yellows on the ending cusp of summer breezes calm the earth, soothe the atmosphere to softly mellow; dance in the fields of corn with pumpkin trampled mazes hold dear the parched sands seeking moisture soak in cooler light beneath the haze of every stargazer; summer's hot breath can no longer torture. Empty the trees of every heavy burdened branch flutter brittle leaves along the dry grass covers edge in along the streams that ripple and form a dance, fall is reborn to whisper and sway to the autumn chill that hovers; paint the sky in pastel ominous colors blush pinks, mustard greens and somber beige browns there lay hidden secrets of season change to be discovered and the earth itself begins its sleep within the ground. Hush the whispers that the trees still carried, walk in the faint light of early morning rising saunter through the guarded wood where winds are ferried and the skeleton of leaves reveals their dying; observe the weather as it begins its change of seasons touch the shadows as they fade and shorten know and understand to time there is a reason that autumn to winter shelters spring fortune.
