Our world creates those who care naught for the other guy Is it video games and headphones tied into their ears That leave our children unconnected alone with their fears? Is it parents who work too many hours each and every day Leaving their kids to find their own ways to play? Bullying and teasing online and in school hallways While others just look away glad it’s not them, in a daze As his community and family grieve for his senseless passing I pray there is healing and a change that is really lasting
