Joyce
Joyce I said I'd love you till I die Now, I sit and wonder why? It was so frivolous now it seems It's like I'm living in a dream The months have slowly passed away Since I lost you that fateful day Seems only loved ones care you're gone I sit here alone and so forlorn The salty tears I daily weep Fall uselessly upon my feet I hear just one word or a song It brings the sadness all day long I try so hard to cope I think without you, there is No hope You are always on my mind You were gentle, so very kind It's hard for me to see A future without you, with me Life isn't very fair I miss the Chantilly in your hair I see the clouds float in the sky I have a feeling you're nearby If I could only hold your hand Life wouldn't be so very bland Although you went to your home on high In guilty thoughts I wonder why? Had I done more the guilt persists Perhaps then you would still exist What more could I do, to keep you here? I love you so very much my Dear In quiet thoughts I wonder why I wasn't ready to say good-bye I think of sixty-three loving years And of our doubts and many fears As salty tear's flood from my eyes I WASN'T READY TO SAY GOOD BYE!!!!!
