Thrown Out of a Burning Plane
Iowa or Nebraska? Kansas or? I get tossed out before I get any answers. Wow! This is the best idea I ever had. I float like a cloud, Can I flip onto my back? Who would want to? This is heaven! I float casually for quite a while, Enjoying the scenery This is better than being in the airplane. I am actually part of this! I am a giant bird, I am on top of the world. Feelings I cannot describe have taken me over. I am captive to feelings that have no name. I float happily Until I realize I am getting closer to earth now. Panic rises to the top of the feelings pile. What if I land on a big tree? How deep is that water? Is it a lake or a pond? Who will find me? Sky diving was crazy. Dangerous! I hear the plane crash. Feel relief that I am safe. Did the pilot get out? He was a great guy. Am I going to land in that tree? Who would find me there? Where is the steering wheel? That is the last thing I remember Then WHOMP! I was on the ground, landing insanely close to a lake. A fisherman on the other side waved. I waved back. Normal? Probably never again actually.
