The Smartest Class Clown
Parents weren't around so sometimes I would act out To hide my own pain, I would always try to give others something to laugh about I'd act immature and tell jokes just to get through the day Welcome to the mind of the smartest class clown My mind was a maze, and I was lost on my path I was the class clown but still finished top of my class I never thought it was possible to be smart and dumb at the same time I guess my already painful life had left me with an insane mind I got knocked down a few times, little did I know that would become my building zone Too busy getting distracted by girls, so I wouldn't do my homework after school in my children's home I wouldn't even write just one word on my homework But I'd write 1000 words in just one verse My ability to write poems never came to a stop But I didn't care about school, I only cared about girls, football and Hip-Hop Not the usual teenager, I didn't care for the gossip or He-say She-say I was too busy listening to Tupac, Nas and Eminem on replay Rappers taught me more about life than my teachers ever could That wasn't their fault, if I'd have listened to what the teachers said then they probably would To hide my own pain I would try to give others something to laugh about This is the mind of the smartest class clown
