Accident In School
Accident in school Papa I did not cry. It was bleeding heavily. They took me to the health centre. Doctor Uncle looked at me with care. And said do not be scared A couple of stitches are only needed. Papa I decided not to cry. Doctor Uncle said good boys never cry. He cleaned my wound softly, Without blinking the eye. Class Teacher shouted seeing the cut mark on the neck. Doctor Uncle asked her to leave and to wait in the back. Papa I could not cry. Doctor Uncle said, I know you are a good boy. You know stitches make a little pain. But, that stops bleeding and that is the gain. I saw him choosing a big needle. You know he put thread in the needle. Papa I told myself not to cry. I am a good boy, how can I cry. He pricked the needle several times on my neck; Yes, it was paining, but I remain static. Doctor Uncle stitched the wound to stop bleeding. He put a big bandage over stitching. Papa I suffered, but did not cry. Doctor Uncle was very happy. He kissed my head saying holding me, He has never seen a brave boy like me. Before leaving he said do not take bath for three days And to swallow red capsules twice for next five days. Papa till end of stitching, I made sure not to cry. Doctor Uncle said, I am a brave boy. Despite asking by class teacher how could I tell her My friend’s name, who pushed me from back on the stair. My friend will be punished for that act. Being a good boy, how can I do that? 10/07/2019
