Married and All Alone
When we first met it was love at first sight Guess felt the same because you made me your wife Thirty years later we sit in silence n our home Never thought being married I’d feel so all alone We went out together on a date night Got through dinner and managed not to fight Headed back to that cold brick house we call home Never thought being married I’d feel so all alone We walked in the house and went our separate ways I now have my very own WOMAN CAVE My mind was racing as I sat alone trying to figure out Where we went wrong Never thought being married I’d feel so all alone I’ve heard people say when you get married you become one So why do I feel so alone in our home Your sitting right beside me watching that dam TV It doesn’t seem that your even aware of me So if I decided to walk out that front door and leave this unhappy home Would you even notice that I was gone Never thought being married I’d feel so all alone
