Days
An eye opened to see A world so wide and free By then, the other eye was overwhelmed by jealousy Thus...deciding to wake up and make the atmosphere breezy... Beauty was seen at the first glance For the eye couldn't lose a chance To look at all the creations found in front of it And store as much memories, and if possible, never quit... Yet, days held the flags of sorrow and misery Jotting black dots on the eye's page of memory Sadness filled the eye's tears Embroidering stitches with fears... But the eye's hopes were never put down For it knew that today's a gift that shouldn't be lead by a frown As the want of what shall happen tomorrow filled the eye's desire Lighting its pathway with pure fire... Now...months, even years, passed As the eye realized.... "Yesterday's history, tomorrow's a mystery, but today's a gift..." And thus, the eye enjoyed its present As it treasured every memory's monument....
