Part Time Poet
Though lately I have no impulse to eat an apple I understand why people do so For humans are built in a similar fashion All different variations for different paths one rolls down a hill and one stays by the tree one may be sweet yet turn sour with time one may be sour but preferred anyways they have a core with is covered in the middle with seeds our cores are filled with logic and sometimes confusion our seeds are our thoughts that permeate into society planting our impact and growing our trees full of blossoming fruit the sunlight fosters growth for the apple and the mind of the Poet the apples have a skin which can be bruised or nurtured and cared for the inside can be used for good - or it can be rotten apples can be very high up or right beside you but when you find yourself shining one on your shirt preparing for the first bite of the day remind yourself - you have a life inside you you have a life that you share on the outside just promise me one thing the apple - if taken far from the tree will always remember which tree it came from
