A Samaritan, people who are oblivious to the Laws, saw the horrible site upon approach, and gave pity, rendering aid to his wounds and comfort for his soul with reassurance of certain recovery will be forthwith. The parable was in response to the inheritance of eternal life, when Jesus asked how it would be purposeth, he responded as written in the Laws, to love with all of your heart, soul and strength, yet, further expounding was asked when referencing who would his neighbor be, ergo, the parable.
