Nightshade
This horrid, dark chasm reaches deep down below. Far beyond the reaches of one's heart and soul. Only the green of its body shreds the night. Leaving what's left of it far from the light. Cursed as the book of a witch. Yet blessed is its flowers as a bible straight from church. What lines divide,it is unknown. Holes open in the leaves, everlasting scars of what had been. Give out a last call. Let it out for us all. Evade, degrade, then let it all go. To the beast that howl and to the wind that groans. Left to a fate that you can't control. The emptiness will soon take its leave. And once it does, you'll never be whole. Long after the poison you've received. Nothing is so impossible. Delayed,is it not? Or commenced,is it so? Something time will tell inside these morning moans. And so comes with them a feeling undone.
