Where the Four Roads Meet
Where the four roads meet there is lots of concrete Where the four roads meet there is much deceit Here I am at the crossroads, wondering which way to go Here I am at the cross roads getting ready for the big show Its early afternoon and I am walking on the moon A while ago I looked at an elegant ceremony Everyone was well dress and parading in their Sunday best I like her majesty because she is short and I am tall but I made her look small that is not a coincident at all I am having tea and cake while looking at the gigantic gate Here I am at the crossroads looking deeply into your soul Here I am at the crossroads standing strong and bold A few days ago I was feeling very low but I continue to hold on to the promise in my guts while shaking your hands No one to share my thoughts, my joy or my pain Through it all I have buried all my shame I am very proud of you, and I said that I would stick around to see your through; don’t be despair when I change my destination I am always with you because that’s my occupation Even when you get your breakthrough my spirit will still be with you. I only have ten more days left here and I still don’t know where to go. Sometimes I feel like a hostage wandering in despair Someone is controlling my life and I still don’t know who The cameras are rolling my spirit is burning and my heart is yearning for my suppressed dream to come through I want to find a quiet place to say that is very far away Listen, I can hear the sound of water running in the stream Birds are singing in the trees and little children are playing in the street I want to look at the mouth watering pies through the glass in the pastry shop, and I want to shop at the village store to know more I want a place where I can relax and create a master piece with all the concept and revelation that I have got No cars rolling up and down the street No ambulance or siren chasing up and down and down No police car on standby or bad boys walking by I want to occupy the entire island with its vast landscape Farm animals and horses running up and down the gate Here I am at the crossroads looking at the future in the sun My future is bright and warm when a new day is dawn I have gone through the entire books, and I know how everything looks, you will see it in the sun when everything is done. Here I am at the corner street listening to your heart beat And a van is waiting in the middle of the street with several cones surrounding a manhole, no one is working and I wonder what is transpiring underneath, I gazed at them discretely and scrutinize them completely and it looked like an evacuation plan No work is going on and two men are loitering in the van When the traffic starts rolling and heaven starts patrolling The men put the cone in the van and start running Here I am at the crossroads staring in the radiant sun The future is speaking to me and mapping out my destiny Some will not live to see it, and others will not be able to bare it But those who escape it will have to share it. Here I am at the cross road deciding which way to go I have to cover some more grounds before I am completely done Britain has been preparing for many years But America is still running around in despair The office is ready but the man is not ready Almost three and a half years of ongoing chatter Documented in books about the great cook Everyone has traveled from yonder to look Cars are rolling by where the heaven meet with the sky The traffic is moving in four different directions They are travelling in different lanes, because they have much to gain East, west, north or south, which way do I go? The sun is shining from the west, and I know that I am blessed The final decision is made where the four roads meet So meet me at the top of the street where the four roads meet. And everything will be complete.
