A Release
Can I blame it on anything Or anyone Other than me And my own sensitivity? Pray, fallen into a world which belongs not to me Fallen, lost, scared, and teary I find not any anchorage Except in the hope that Death displays Why, Am I to be blaming my state On anyone else Other than me? The Goddess had whispered to me her wish Yet, Even then, it would seem That this world And its illusory powers Are way too strong for her Having easily torn her will into million of pieces And having, broken, In this way, My heart, into irrecuperable pieces! Why, A world so tricky, so lost Revolving upon its own compulsion to, Is it not a prison for sinners? Is it not a place where we come to suffer For the reactions of our actions? Yet, a world it is, Which even the dark era has invaded So much that what once a glory Is now never meant to be! And in this world, I tread, Relying solely on that which Death promises, A release from that which is tangled Around my ankles, around my wrists, Around my fatelines, Around my heart, A release Into silence, Into a state of being, While non being, A release, At last, a release, Which shall carry no resentment, no hurt, No fake smiles, no tears, No hope, no regrets Merely A release, as is felt By birds, when they get offered their freedom After having been caged all their lives!
