The Wong Side of the Mirror
am I the not I or merely imagination un-imagined? am I on the wrong side of the mirror the crooked eight the hard nine the soft shell or the torus? as I stare out of the abyss the moon and mankind torture truth embrace lies like snakes and spiders embrace death until even death dies truth dies old men grow soft stones and dirt surrounds the rest am I on the dark side of the sun? where light never enters reflections never reflect empty words erupt as a cruel kindness explodes shattering the glass ball beautiful blue planet painful sounds in the ears of puppet salesmen have I been sleeping for a thousand years am I only coffin kill on polar planets? where friends never seem friendly while bar stools spin endlessly in twisted orbits as evil crushes us all into frozen flowers wind storms strum the same old steel guitars and broken pianos this Earth ship crashes light bends burning shadow people but never turns into morning are u the last survivor? in the clouds while an evil wind this way blows full of bad ideas dancing puppets fill the macabre dance floor run out of blow torch songs puppet heads sandpaper voices off key and underground?
