When the River Stops Flowing
Deer pace nervously Peering at the sunset They knew it not But they knew it so For the end was nigh It made their blood cold And bones go rigid Oh dear such sweet deer What future is left to them Damned to be born And damned to die Before their fifth cycle It's recycled fate Passed down by a generation That didn't ever care Peer upon the fawn That struggles daily In a world full of toxicity In a world slowly dying The final generation That will die illiterate Without the grace of arts To pacify troubled minds When the river stops flowing Oh dear such sweet deer It made their bones go rigid And their blood cold For the end was here But they knew it not They knew it so Beneath bittersweet sunset They all finally died When the river stopped flowing
