Too Many Pets
In number four were forty cats And forty four dogs too But the Dogs all barked and barked and barked And the cats they all did mew The neighbours were not happy They all did complain They said the noise the animals made Was driving them all insane So their owner had to sell them Thirty six cats went And forty dogs had to go To good homes they were sent So in number four were now four cats And four dogs who remained But they made such a ghastly noise That the neighbours still complained They called the RSPCA Who sent four of their best To deal with this problem Was going to be a test To number 4 Acacia Avenue These four people went They knew what they were going for Cos they had all been sent But they just couldn't deal with it So they left after several tries Then 4 Acacia Avenue Began to sell meat pies The neighbours all loved those pies They ate them every day When they asked what meat she used Number four wouldn't say No one knew where the cats had gone Or the dogs as well Number 4 just sold her pies She wasn't gonna tell
