Twenty Ninth Anniversary
This is a day to celebrate When memories come back to mind Every little thought provokes something Never sadness just blessings to find Twenty-nine is the magic number Years that we've spent so much in love Nothing can take these thoughts ever away Indeed thank God for fitting us like a glove Now we can look back with much fondness There were wonderful days when we first met Holding hands for that amazing first time And in wonder still held in our net Now our love has matured so deep Never would we have believed so long ago In our hearts connected so well together Very obvious to each other to God we owe Every echo of thankfulness for His grace Resting on His mercy and love for us two Such is the Lord's sovereign providence at work At our wedding day, we gladly said I do Right now we agree all these years on Yes is our word as to God we lean upon (Yesterday was my wife Christine and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary, so I have written this acrostic on her card so thought I would share it too.)
