Lou
Sometimes i think I’m falling, away from the dark, the pain and the memories, still leave a mark, life is a lesson, and wounds leave a scar, the spiralling staircase, is never that far, what if all along, this was the plan, to take me from boy, into a man, I notice the things, the beauty of life, I’ve picked up a pen, and put down the knife, I’ve opened my eyes, and opened my heart, I know I’m not young, but this is a start, discovering words, that help with the pain, my feelings before, are now not the same, sometimes When i smile, without a why, sometimes all it takes, is a breath or a sigh, at times when the world, feels too big to care, I know in my heart, who I want with me there, you’ve ran in the dark, and walked through the rain, shared all my demons, and helped with the pain, focused on me, when I was so lost, made me seek help, whatever the cost, I owe you my life, dramatic but true, this page would be empty, if it wasn’t for you, you told me to write, and not be a dick, watched me eat pigeon, and nearly be sick, this is my thank you, my message that’s true, the darkest of nights, you still pull me through, sometimes when I’m falling, through space and through time, I know in my heart, that I’ll be just fine, these words were easy, because they’re so true, you may be a mongo, but I wouldn’t change you.
