Living In the Footsteps
Written By: D. Collins 4/19/19 I am living in the footsteps of Muhammad Ali. That purpose in life that makes me, Me. I look back over life, where I've never been scared. Tread on the ground where few men have dared. No government has had their reigns on me. Which is the only description of living free. So, I am made in the image of Muhammad Ali. Sticking and moving, and stinging like a bee. He actually taught me how to be a black man. How to stand up and be all that I can. He gave young, black children a reason to exist. Like any revolution, it came through his fists. I am writing the poem because we should know who he was. A bad Muthaa, who gave us a all a cause. I enjoy living in the footsteps of Muhammad Ali. Hopefully, in Heaven, he will accept me.
