I measure my writing like a fool, By the amount or lack of comments. I don't think any poet should write for glory! As though this were the Poetry Olympics. What a pitiful, tragic tale. There are poems of rare beauty here And some are restaurant menus.-)) Nothing more, with comments galore? I feel like selling out,meaning for mediocrity. Just throw any words on a paper. Just to be at the top? I tried that, it doesn't work. Just tracks of me, like footprints in the snow. Best to be fully me, even if the poem is barren of comments.
