The One Question We Should All Be Asking
There is one question above all others, That should be on all lips, Irrespective of age, gender or personal belief, If we don't want to end up at the bottom of the well, Up the creek, Or lost in space. We should be asking it before breakfast, We should be asking it on the bus or in the car, We should be asking it inside and outside, We should be asking it even when texting or soaking in the tub. We should ask it of our boss, We should ask it of our Mum or Dad, We should especially ask it of our children. The right answer will stop us from falling down the well, The right answer will give us something to paddle back along the creek, The right answer will stop us from getting lost in all kinds of spaces. If you are not asking the one question, It is not too late to read this poem, To find out "What's involved"? If you don't want to fall down the well, If you don't want to be up the creek, If you don't want to be lost in space.
