Perseverance, Persistence, Patience
Perseverance, persistence, Patience By: Tom Wright 10/29/99 I think not, that one's head should be held low upon having given our best. For only through life's failures do we grow, and perhaps once more, God, has given our character a test. Another lesson in perseverance for us to see. Perhaps in reaching too high, God, sees we've meandered off track, and from these temporary failures, humbling though they be, comes our abundance as He leads us back. We must then, be persistent, allowing God, to lead the way. Seek His wisdom and it will come as surely as the morrow's rising sun. Teaching us to lay aside failures of yesterday, while giving hope that our next moment will surely be the crowning one. When once more, we've given God, our best, It's patience, we now should humbly seek. Thereby being content to wait and be at rest and to those who say, "I have not failed" Or "failure is not an option", I merely ask what have you accomplished lately? For it is only through failure, that we learn and grow. Finally becoming the person that we are, and hopefully, the person God, intends us to be. He has not failed who has given to God, his all.
