Spring Blues
Ah! The birds delicate voice sings Dawn broke! Precious chirping ringing in my ears The exaggerated sun rays lift the beauteous hues But for some reason the experience is the deep seated blues Radiant blue skies - beautiful - seep through my soul The blessed breath of spring feeding each tree There! They come to life ! I see this true So why with the warmth of heart ! Do I still feel so blue The rain begins , it seasonally explore And verbally raindrop glistens as I listen The green grass it grows yet no bountiful flowers bloom Thorns still prick the old brush still lives I'm getting the hint with these beauteous blue skies And when God's rain melodies nurture the rose into bloom Then the blues in the way not only will say That flower embedded in the intellectual mind Still has a thorn ? And thus any way Each day then soon may shred bloom With fragrance of aura significant of perfume I then dig the blues with the beauty of nature But why do we have a thorn? And why is each new day born? Inquisitive , I might say ! It's infatuating With theory of beauty on your mind of a rose So a poet can deliberately have fun prose So if that thorn be true of wit Playful words intended! I write while I sit And spring may enlighten my life as well Tis the sun and rain in the skies! Love my rose, pray tell.
