God Gave Them
GOD GAVE THEM God gave them life, God gave them the water to drink and the plants to eat, God gave them the air to breathe, and the sun to see and be warm, God gave them the trees to protect them and the mountains to sleep in. God was pleased , But they wanted more. They made houses to sleep more, They made candles to see longer ,and fires to be warmer, They made crops to eat more, and wine to drink more. God was pleased, But they wanted more. They made borders to keep their houses, They made weapons to defend their borders, They made armies to use the weapons. God was watching, But they wanted more. They melted the ice to get more water, They tortured the plants and the animals to get more food, They dug holes in the ground to get more heat. God was watching, But they wanted more. They twisted metals to make machines and have more rest, They melted plastics to make cars and have more games, They broke the atoms to have more light and more heat. God was not pleased, But they wanted more. They dirtied the water and maimed the trees, They twisted the sun’s heat and blew up the mountains, They damaged the air, the winds and the seas. God was not pleased, But they wanted more They said they could create life, They pretended that God never existed, They said that they were gods themselves. God said that was too much, But they wanted more. So God took back the trees and the animals, God took back the water and the air, God took back the light. God said that was too much, But they wanted more. So God took back life, And they died. And God was pleased.
