The Wagon Man Wagon John Harrel
The "Wagon Man" "Wagon John" Harrel Written: by Tom Wright 1/30/03 Glaring, glinting eyes, set deep in a weathered face. One scant peek revealed, his life, at warp speed pace. A mask filled with time ruts, with narratives to relate. Stories of life, and alcohol, that weren't all too great. An old unshaven face, Was home to a raspy shout. A rolled up hat brim, articulated what he was about. He claims friendship with God, and the environment made. Thankful for each spring rain, and midsummer oak tree shade. To those who mollycoddle, he has "trail tales" to tell. His demeanor, captivating, if you indulge him for a spell. His space is Truscott, Tx. now, all he dares crave. While bathed in paranoia, my friend to the grave.
